Meet Your Facilitators

Ritam
Ritam creates structure that lets you soften.
Ritam is a Tantra teacher, transformative coach, and somatic facilitator trained under Ma Ananda Sarita in the Tantra Essence lineage. After a decade in corporate environments, he understands the pressure to stay controlled and the disconnection it creates.
His work bridges science and spirituality through meditation, breathwork, and sacred communication. He guides participants to melt tension, awaken safety in their bodies, and reconnect with the pulse of joy beneath the surface. Safety and consent form the bedrock of his facilitation.
Charlotte
Charlotte helps you feel safe enough to stay open.
Charlotte is a transformational coach, breathwork therapist, and somatic healing practitioner devoted to helping people reconnect with their most important relationship: the one with themselves.
Through breathwork, nervous system awareness, and somatic healing, she came home to her body and discovered that safety is the foundation where desire and trust can flourish. Today, her work supports people in feeling safe enough to open to real connection with themselves, others, and life itself.
“Together they create a space that is safe, real, and deeply human - where healing and transformation happen naturally through presence, breath, and connection.”
Our Approach
What Makes This Retreat Different
The Art of Safe Connection combines Somatic Tantra and SOMA® Breathwork in one carefully held experience
We combine these two powerful complementary modalities because connection is not only emotional, it is physiological.
Modality One
SOMA® Breathwork
Breathwork works directly with your nervous system.
Through guided breath journeys, your body learns how to:
- Come out of stress and overthinking
- Release stored tension
- Return to calm, grounded presence
- Awaken vitality without overwhelm
Modality Two
Somatic Tantra
Somatic Tantra supports:
- Body awareness and self-trust
- Clear boundaries
- Authentic communication
- Safe, embodied relating
Together, these practices help connection stop being something you try to do, and start becoming something you feel.

Our Wall of Love

“Tonight I am rejoicing and feeling so at one with life and with my essence. Never before have I felt this so strongly. Thank you for diving so deep with me and co-creating such a safe environment which allowed me to shed some of the deepest, most dense layers of my being. It's magical and beautiful.”
“I came to this retreat because of stress, burnout, and seeking reconnection. I found a deep connection with myself and my husband.”

“Thank you for being sent into our time, walking through this sacred space with us. For showing up with open hearts, open minds, and such grace. For this retreat experience that changed so much in such a short time.”
The Experience
What's Happening Over the 2 Days
Day 1 — Coming Home to Your Body
We slow down. Through breath, sensation, and somatic movement, you reconnect with your natural pace. Then we explore how clarity and boundaries actually create more connection, not less. You discover how your body already knows the difference between yes and no — and how to trust it.
You end the day with one steady feeling: "I feel grounded, safe, and able to communicate what I actually want."
Day 2 — Staying Open Without Losing Yourself
Closeness is introduced slowly, with full presence. You explore how to be near others without overthinking, how to receive without giving something back, and what it feels like to be seen exactly as you are — without performing or adjusting. Through small group experiences, something softens.
You end the day with one steady feeling: "I can stay connected without betraying myself. I feel relaxed being exactly who I am."

Questions Answered
Frequently Asked Questions
Where is the Art of Safe Connection retreat located?
This retreat is in Ubud, Bali.
If I have to fly into Bali from another country, which airport do I need to fly into?
You will fly into Denpasar International Airport, also known as DPS.
Do I need a visa to travel to Bali?
Yes, most travelers require a visa. Visa requirements vary by country of origin. Bali offers a Visa on Arrival option at Denpasar Airport. We recommend applying in advance through the official online process, which is simple and efficient.
What accommodation options are available?
The retreat is non-residential by default, which works well for people already based in or near Ubud, Bali. For those flying in from Australia or elsewhere, we offer 1-night accommodation as an add-on so you can fully immerse in the experience.
Can I join if I'm single?
Absolutely. Around 80% of participants come as singles. The retreat is specifically designed for this. We maintain gender balance in the group and use a mix of partner rotation and "divine selection" (a kind of beautiful randomness that always seems to connect people with exactly who they need). Singles are not just welcome - they thrive here.
What about couples?
Couples are warmly welcomed. Our recommendation for couples is to do the practices with each other because it's a powerful and intimate way to deepen your relationship in a safe, guided container.
Is this a sexual retreat?
No. We work with sexual energy in the sense that Tantra does - as a life force to be channeled, not acted upon. There is no sexual activity in sessions. This is not a temple night or conscious sexuality event. Consent, slowness, and safety are the foundation of everything we do.
What age range can I expect the participants to be?
Generally 25-45, though we welcome a wide range. The group is diverse, open, and always beautiful - in every sense of the word.
Do I need experience with Tantra or breathwork?
Zero experience required. This retreat is intentionally designed for people who are completely new. Ritam loves introducing people to this work for the first time, and the Soma breathwork is gentle (in/out 4 seconds), though in the right context, it takes you somewhere profound.
What's your cancellation policy?
We don't give refunds. Your ticket can be transferred to another person of the same gender after the organizer's approval. We are unable to offer refunds once your ticket is secured. Thank you for your understanding.
Feeling nervous? That's actually a sign you're ready.
Almost everyone who joins this retreat feels some nervousness beforehand. That does not mean this is not for you. It usually means something meaningful is opening.
This retreat is designed for people who want real connection but need safety, consent, and nervous system awareness to get there.
You will be met gently, clearly, and at your own pace.

Our Worldview
The Somatic Tantra Philosophy
We believe that joy lives in the body. Not as an idea, not as something to achieve, but as a felt experience waiting to be remembered.
At Somatic Tantra, we create spaces where the nervous system can settle, where presence replaces performance, and where connection becomes natural rather than effortful.
Our work is rooted in embodiment, the understanding that lasting transformation happens through the body, not around it. We draw from tantric wisdom, somatic awareness, and nervous system science to create experiences that are both deeply ancient and practically relevant.
We do not ask you to be different than you are. We create conditions where you can finally feel safe enough to be exactly who you already are, in connection with yourself and with others.
"The path to joy is presence. The tool is embodiment. The destination is connection."
